Homework Due Nov 11
I have posted a link to a series of videos on Moles. Some of the videos are irrelevant so just ignore those. It was not possilble to pick and choose the ones that I wanted and didn't from this series. It was the best series I could find. For instance there is one about Moles and gases. See the file below with problems for both converting Moles to and from atoms or molecules and converting Moles to and from Mass. If you are having problems the videos should help. Here are some links to pages that also might help if you need them.

Homework Due Oct 21
Use the Reference Sheet in the first Download and refer to page 98 in your book. For each element listed draw an electron configuration map and write out the electron configuration format for each one. Make sure to adhere to the rules for mapping electrons we went over in class. Watch the video below to continue working on that concept we were going over at the end of class. We will continue with it into chapter 4. It will not be on the test until we have a chance to really dig into the periodic table itself.

I hope to be able to test on Chapter 2 after we go over problems in class on Monday. You will do it at home like last time and it will be due the following week.

Homework Due Sept 16
There are two videos below if you need help remembering how to work the problems. See the file below for problems to work and turn in on Sept 16. Remeber that we are having lab on Monday. You will need safety goggles. They can be purchased at Harbor Freight or Dollar Tree inexpensively. Also from here forward you will need a simple calculator to use in class. It can be the dollar calculators at wal mart. Nothing fancy.

If you need extra help you can watch the two videos below on density and conversion factors. Remember this week you need to finish the sheet of density problems we started in class and I am uploading a sheet of conversion factors here. Also there is a study guide for the test on Chapter 1. We will review next week in class and hopefully you will have the test the following week. But you can go ahead and start working on the study guide if you want.
