This is designed to accompany a class in high school Anatomy & Physiology as a Laboratory Experience. Classes start at 9 am and end at 3:30 each day. Lunch and snack breaks(student will need to bring their own snacks and lunch) are given throughout the day. NOTE WE ARE AN ALLERGY FREE TUTORIAL PLEASE NO PEANUTS, TREE NUTS, OR FISH IN ANY FORM.All of the supplies, equipment and materials will be provided.
There will be a mix of hands on labs, demonstrations and speakers. The student will be exposed to various chemical techniques, concepts, and the scientific method. We will begin with the scientific method and an introduction to writing lab reports. Each day we will build on the process of writing lab reports. They will be given homework related to writing lab reports each night. At the end of the intensive they will have fulfilled the laboratory requirement for High School A&P Lab. If you are reporting it as a credit. I would report it as a quarter credit. This A&P intensive is geared towards 10-12 grade students. Let Me take the headache out of labs for you. To offer this kind of experience at home you would need to order multiple kits online, plus you would need the equipment and supplies to do the labs, not to mention the dirty mess, nasty smells, cleanup, and wondering if you are doing it right. This is a great value for the experience. Cost for the Intensive $210. $50 due at registration and the balance on or before the first session. The $50 registration fee is a non-refundable lab fee. To register go here https://sciencewithjudith.weebly.com/intensive-registration.html I have to have at least 5 students registered in order to hold this intensive so please share this with all your friends. I have a flyer you can distribute if you have friends not on facebook or the internet. The students do not have to be homeschoolers to particpate. This will be offered in Jackson, TN, June 17-19, 2019 facility to be announced. |
